Does the apostille require translation?

When sending documents to the Italian Consulate the apostille does not usually require translation, though if you’re unsure, it’s best to check with the relevant body.

Do I need to deliver the original certificate in person?

No, you can simply send it as an attachment via email.

How do I share the document to translate?

You can send it per email. If taking a picture with a phone, please make sure that the photo is clear, and all the text is easily readable. The same applies to handwritten text, please type it out if unclear.

How long does the process take?

I can usually deliver within a few days from go-ahead, though this might vary depending on my workload. The final delivery date will be provided upon confirmation to proceed.

Delivery is per email. Though usually unnecessary, if delivery via post is required, an additional fee is applied.

Yes, the translation is accompanied by a translation certificate stating that the translation is a true and accurate translation of the original.
